Getting Connected with New Friends

The Small Group ministry of St. Luke works under the belief that we grow in our relationships in community. That is true of our relationships with each other as well as with God. These groups meet at least twice a month in homes and study a variety of topics. Bible study, book study, and the study of Spiritual Disciplines are just a few of the topics that these groups gather around. While these topics serve as a starting point, it is in the sharing of personal faith and life stories that the groups begin to grow and bond together, creating a care group as well. If you have questions about how you might join a small group please call the church office at 860-464-7897.

It is a lively discussion and is open to all.

Mid-Week Lenten Soup Supper, Study & Worship

Every Wednesday in Lent

We meet every Wednesday in Lent for a simple soup supper beginning at 6:00 pm, followed by a study and evening prayer at 7:30 pm. In 2013, we used Worship Matters: An Introduction to Worship, to study questions about why we gather, how we encounter God in worship and how that encounter shapes our response in both our community and our world. We invite suggestions for topics for next year's Lenten Study. Please bring your ideas to either the Pastor or the Discipleship Team.
